Resolve is a non-commercial legal entity founded in 2020. It aims to help people prevent, efficiently manage and resolve their disputes
Differences, disputes and conflicts are inevitable part of our lives. Often, a conflict may help uncover important information and hence, prevent bigger risks to materialize. Therefore, it is not surprising that our feelings, success and relationships with others in all areas of life largely depend on how we engage in a dispute (conflict) and we will manage and resolve it.
Resolve has been founded on the belief that the parties to the dispute or a problem (those engaged in it) have the biggest resource to resolve it. This resource can be uncovered as a result of an efficient dialogue or negotiation.
In addition, efficient communication between people is important in terms of individual growth, making progress and achieving success, building trust and developing a productive cooperation. Beyond all this – it is important for societal piece and wellbeing of people.
Efficient communication can be achieved by:
- Engagement of a skilled neutral
- Skills building
- Developing an organizational system which will ensure prevention or ractification of systemic deficiencies in communication
Based on this, the activities of Resolve are focused on the following three areas:
- Resolve team itself is equipped with skills to engage in the meetings, negotiations or disputes as a facilitator or a mediator;
- Resolve develops and delivers trainings, which equip people with knowledge and skills suited to their needs;
Resolve conducts research and assessments related to dispute prevention, management and resolution, for private and public institutions as well as larger society (depending on the needs of the client), develops recommendations and if there is a will, engages in the implementation of those recommendationations.
