Founders of Resolve are experienced and internationally known experts who, jointly and separatly, have conducted multiple studies and assessments related to dispute prevention, management as well dispute systems (as well as legislation) design or the need for amendments. Resolve’s unique approach is based on its founders expansive professional practice, academic qualification as well as extensive experience in conducting assessments and writing reports for private, as well as public and international organizations.

Each study is undertaken based on the rexources and specific requirements of theclient. It may be internal for the organization and hence – confidential. It may aim at identifying existing systemic or individual challenges in the context of dispute prevention and management and developing possibilities for overcoming them. The study may also be public, the purpose of which might be informing the interested stakeholders and wider public on the possible ways of dispute prevention and resolution.

Depending on the specific  needs, the study may be conducted by desk analysis as well as employing interviewing and other methods. As a result, existing challenges shall be identified and alternative recommendations for their  efficient resolution shall be developed. Resolve may, upon the nee dof the client, also engage in the process of implementation of the recommendation, whether this will be capacity building of the people, systemic changes in the organization (e.g. introducing/amending certain unit within the organization, to help resolve or efficiently prevent disputes), etc. 

The founders of Resolve have been lead experts in the process of adoption of the Law of Georgia on Mediation, as well as in developing High Council of Justice’s Mediation Program. They have a key role in developing Mediators’ Code of Ethics and Rules for Discpilinary Proceedings for Georgian mediators. Resolve has also developed Georgian International Arbitration Center’s (GIAC) Mediation and Facilitation Rules, as well as the Protocol for Online Proceedings. Hence, Resolve is ready to advise interested stakeholders on adoption or amendment of legislative/regulatory  regimes and documents.
